Frequently Asked Questions

What does washing process mean?

Some of our references are the washed process, which is the most traditional on-farm process in Colombia. This means that the coffee after being harvested is pulped, that is, the husk is removed, it is left to ferment between 12 and 24 hours and then it is washed (Lora kursiva) with water. To finally be dried in the sun.
The washed process gives the coffee a softness and balance typical of Colombian coffee.

What is the softest reference?

If you found coffee to be a very strong drink, we recommend our Caturra washed process variety, or the Gesha washed process variety, which is even a much more delicate and lighter profile.
